The lararium painting has two large diagonal serpents, one either side of a painted round altar.

Above the serpents is a garland. In the background are bushes with green leaves and red flowers.

Over each bush is a fluttering bird.

In front of the painted altar is a four-sided real altar which was painted with red, blue and yellow spots.
